How AID approves projects?
  • Receive project proposal from NGOs in India.

  • Clarify questions raised with the NGO.
  • Visit the project and NGO during review. This is typically done when one of the AID volunteers visits India.
  • Further discussion in CSH; evaluate the organization and project based on the strengths, weaknesses and fit with AID philosophy.
  • Approve the project for funding if everything is found satisfactory.
  • Monitor progress of the project by maintaining regular contact with NGO; Visit the site to monitor progress whenever possible; learn from the project.
